Leadership That’s Personal, Practical, and Proven

Our story is grounded in challenge, transformation, and a belief that better leadership makes everything better.

What’s In A Name?

Nature has a funny way of teaching us about leadership and ourselves.

Watch a mountain stream or river. The current surges and flows over the rocky bottom. The stones shape the water and over time, the water shapes the rocks it flows over. Often, we only see the waves and rapids, only dimly aware of the guiding action the rocky river bed has on the water swirling around it.

People are the same way, our core purpose, guiding principles and foundational practices shape who we are. When we base our leadership, words and actions off these pillars, it shapes how we impact and influence our environment and those around us. Leaders are often perceived solely based on their words, actions and results but what's underneath is what really guides a person.

Building top-performing leaders and teams has been central to Phil Kornachuk’s life for more than three decades. Corporate leaders, collegiate and professional athletes, elite military units, nonprofit executives, emergency services, and other organizations have all benefited from his distinctive approach to leadership and team development.

Phil leverages over 22 years of experience serving, leading, and developing elite teams within U.S. Army Special Operations around the globe. Since transitioning out of the military, he has applied those lessons—shaped in high-stakes, ambiguous environments—to strengthen leaders and teams across industries, always with an emphasis on proven principles and continuous growth.

In addition to decades of hands-on leadership experience, Phil holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation. He has served as a trusted coach and advisor to hundreds of leaders, known for asking hard questions, offering objective insight, and driving accountability.

Now based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Phil lives with his ER doctor/ultra-runner wife and tries to keep up with his eight children as they pursue their own paths as world-changers. When not working with leaders, Phil can be found climbing, backpacking, boarding, riding, fishing, rafting, or hunting in the mountains and waters of the western U.S.
